I bought an item from a SL store and haven't received it yet. Bought Jan 22nd.

You can do an inventory search by item name - choose a keyword in name of the item. If you're fairly certain it's not there:


Contact the creator, usually by notecard but they may specify in their profile how they want to be contacted for support issues. Explain the situation, and include the transaction information. You can find this by going to the marketplace, choosing "my marketplace" at the top, "my account," "order history." Copy and paste the information for the item in question.

Give the creator two or three days to contact you back. If they don't, go here and submit a support ticket, under "marketplace - failed marketplace delivery." Explain the situation to LL, again including the transaction data. They should get back to you within a day or two.


This all assumes this was a marketplace transaction, of course. If it was inworld, contact the creator or whoever the creator names for customer service. If they don't respond, you can still submit a ticket with LL, but I think it may fall under resident-to-resident dispute at that point, and if so they won't do anything.
