How do i go about seeing how many prims I have in my skybox?

At the top of your screen, go the about land menu: your prim usage appears in the objects tab.

You can also use your camera view to zoom out just far enough to see your entire skybox.  Then open your Build/Edit tool (CTRL + 3) and drag a selected rectangle around it.  You'll see your prim count and Land Impact score in the Edit window.
