How do I get phoenix firestorm to respond?

Everytime I try to log in to SL I get a "not responding" and I have to "restart" my computer just to quit.   Since it won't log me in all the way or turn on the music or anything.    It's not my computer, I just had it overhauled.

Check to be sure that your firewall or your anti-virus routine are not blocking you from entering SL.

Not your computer. ok. Then could it be your connection? Think about it.  For something to go into a not responding state it is more oftentimes because of connection failure or interruption in connection. Test your connection. Reset your router.
