after reading the information provided to you by Rolig, is it also possible you meant the things that you rezzed [placed out on a parcel]?

If this is the case I can think of a couple of reasons for rezzed objects to go missing:

1) You rezzed items in a public sandbox. Most of these will auto-return rezzed items to you after a period of time. You will find then back in your inventory in the Lost and Found folder.

2) You rezzed items on a friends parcel  Most of these will be returned to you after a period of time by your friend. You will find then back in your inventory in the Lost and Found folder

3) You rezzed items on your own parcel. If the parcel you used to own is now empty, check with your landlord as to why/
