why can't i deed an item (media switch)? Am officer of land i rezzed it in.

You should have transfer permission for the switch, but it's possible that the merchant set Next Owner permissions wrong.  (It's not unheard of.  I have done it .... a few times. :smileyembarrassed:)  Anyway, if the switch is no-transfer, you can't deed it to the group.
