How do I get rid of spam?

Mute the object that is sapming you. Simply click on the name from the chat window and open the menu and select block.

You are evidently wearing some scripted object that is sending that spam message on your behalf.  You'll have to identify all attachements to your avatar and start taking them off one at a time until you find it.
