This was the first thing i ever made in SL..the old forums had such a great index of information that even i could learn how to make stuff back then..

4168027020_370285e7e6_o.png

then that turned into this and a bunch of other stuffs..

3417198120_b9ff522e8b_o.png

for me it was like..after you make your first thing in SL..doors just kept opening to make all kinds of other things..

then that leads into doing your own textures and photography and  tons of photoshop stuff..

then you realize..there will never be enough prims  for what i want to do lol

Loving everyone's creativity! Here's an SL poem I wrote a while back (you can see how long a while by some of the designer references.)

In every club you'll see her,

Standing tall and oh so slim.

She's a hostess, maybe model,

Knows the owner of the sim.

And she'll get your butt ejected

If you don't bend to her whims.

She's the picture of perfection,

From her Truth down to her Moodys,

With her League jeans sitting low enough

To show her Redqueen booty.

She's a pixelated goddess

But inside, there's something wrong,

Because no one ever friends her,

When her clothes are on.

;)

That is hilarious!

i actually learned blender back then..it wasn't so bad once you figured out all the stuff on there that you didn't need to use..otherwise it was overwhelming at first..

i opened it up and was like..ok this is gonna take some time to learn..

then the more i learned..the more i learned that most of that on the interface was for other things hehehe

once my scripts were put it..it was pretty easy and secodn nature after that..

although i doubt i would do it again lol

it took two weeks of constant learning to really get it where i was flying in that program..

@ Stella.. that poem was hilarious! I have known quite a few 'girls' like that.. well, not really known, guess because I'm not "cool" enuf to know, which is probaby a blessing. But, aside from all of that, I really like your rhyming scheme.. a-b-a-b. I'm a rhymer, too. I just cannot understand 'freeform' poetry. Well done!

@ Ceka.. the more I see ppl's mesh and sculpt designs, the more I want to try it. Looks like you have fun creating!

... Zbrush, you say..hummm.. I have been sculpting with clay for many many (many) years. I think I'll give it a go. Thank's for the inspiration!

This is a poem I wrote for a friend who rp's a werewolf in SL.. hope it makes you giggle!:matte-motes-bashful-cute-2:

"A Lesson of Moonlight and Wolves"

On the night of the fullest moon,
He hunts the innocent heart.
His song does cause a swoon
That makes good sense depart..

His love is cold and treacherous,
His kiss is a savage bite,
His heart is depraved and lecherous,
But, his eyes promise carnal delight.

Beware the wolf that sings sweet songs
As he's ripping out your heart;
His passion for conquest is so strong
That he'll tear your soul apart.

Let this be a warning to you,
Never walk in the woods alone;
Moonlight and wolves should be taboo
And nice girls should stay at home...

Yea Zbrush and scultris the other one is free, but ZBrush has rebirth my photoshop curiosity.  Same tool used for many animated movies.  If you fall in love with the idea, find a student almost 1/2 off haah.

Abolutely love that poem.  It really hits the mark!  H

Heres one I wrote for my gf after we met rencelty.  Ask or PM me if anyone wants a hints on any of it.

Promise

Into my life a soft wind blow

her spirit true and center glow

my gaze aware did follow thou

to swirl about in hope's corral

    Dance, share, and witness bare

soul and breast with raring ear

with words so pure did hope arise

to a supple state my soul surmise

Though bulwark spring to ward my heart

my feet stood fast, and na'er would part

her salute was captain beyond all scrutinay

my mind and feet abide in mutiny

Hope and trust did spark affection

passions slumbering roused in conjection

endearing gaze still deeper dash

a kindred bond a red rose sash

Now each day I peer the chart

with leeward sail she guides my heart

hope abounds for future come

affection and love is now my drum

Promise

Fairy on Fire

by NealCrz

Oh Butterfly, oh fairy, oh angel, who's burning

Dancing through life on a cloud and rhyme

Where will you light and pursue your yearning

Who's honor and faith, has brawn and your time

Your as soft as virgin down

                    with a hidden flowing lava

You cast for me with a flowing gown

and are sweeter than the purist guava

Though you buck, you long to be possessed

by one who's love is stronger than your very essense

Then you will take your passionate rest

in my arms in perfect coalescence

Your fire calls deep unto deep

My desire and craving for you is greater than life

Your longing to claim me and no longer weep

My desire to be with you as my wife

So sing loud and strong of your love ablaze

Embrace my lusty hard and freeing love

Nourish me with all your wondrous feminine ways

And receive all you've hoped and dreamed for from above

Thanks, Stella.. glad you liked :matte-motes-little-laugh: I tried writing one freeform poem years ago.. I don't know if I did it right..or even know how to write one. It has no structure nor ryhme, but, it's choked full of metaphor goodliness!. here it is. It's very short and it "freeformed" right from my spirit. As I wrote it, I could hear ocean waves and distant whale song.. all in my head. :matte-motes-whistle:

Paradise

Amethyst clouds caress the midnight sky
And the ocean's waves sing a distant song.
The velvet sand whispers my name...

I reach into iridescent waves and
Tiny emerald fish swim through my fingers...
Fins twinkling like wind chimes.
A warm jasmine breeze gently rustles the stars,
Swirling distant galaxies...

I see you there, smiling at my amazement.
I ask you if this is Paradise...
You reach up and pluck a star from the Heavens
And place it in my eye...
Now, I see the fragrance of the wind
And hear the color of your voice.
I am in Paradise.....

Cool couch.  Using Blender?

I used to work in Blender, till I took a course in Cinema 4D and could become a cheaper license.

But I when it comes to create for Second Life I think Blender is as good as C4D, and as good as Studio Max or Maya as well. For me the advantage of C4D is for things besides SL. Like the name says, the program is specialised in 4D, which is time. So it is smooth to work with when it comes to animating mesh.
