Can't use E to jump for some reason. Don't want to use PageUP

there is a setting in preferences (in the LL viewer under 'GENERAL') - bring the settings up with the shortcut CTRL+P, which is called: "Pressing letter keys Starts local chat".

Probably that's enabled for you.

Well, I tried that, it did not fix it. I even reset all my settings to default. And it still doesnt want to jump. I don't know what else could've been the problem.

Do you have a gesture active, that is triggered with 'E' ?
Look under Communicate-> Gestures (CTRL+G)

 

Or maybe a script in an attached object that took your controls?

Try detaching everything, and attach your items one by one.
