I am trying to visit the disorient express, it asked me to choose an app to open and I inadvertently chose the wrong thing.

Now when I try to go anywhere the wrong app pops up. How do I change what app to use?

You could try Stop Animating my Avatar

I see a roller coaster ride, there shouldn't be any Apps.

I think you clicked Teleport from a web page, but your web browser did not know where to find the Second Life application. You can still teleport from inside the SL viewer, after you log into Second Life, but you can not teleport from a web page (outside Second Life) because the wrong app starts up.

For Microsoft Internet Explorer, try completely un-installing Second Life and then re-install the Second Life viewer.

For Firefox internet explorer, go to Tools menu, Options, Applications tab, scroll to find SecondLife and click on the Action item, then the drop down will let you choose a different application to associate with Second Life.  For Microsoft Windows, Second Life viewer is normally installed in this location (this is the actual viewer app):

C:\Program Files (x86)\SecondLifeViewer\SecondLife.exe
