"Login failed. Unable to connect to a simulator." Error message. How do I fix this?

And please please PLEASE don't tell me to choose a new starting point like aqua, pooley, smith etc. I have tried all of those suggestions and still get the same message. I even tried starting off at sandbox and got that message. So I logged onto an alt and was able to log on and start in sandbox just fine.

 

It's frustrating, and I don't have money to buy premium and then pay a fee for canceling. There has to be another way.

 

P.S; if it means anything, my account was just released to me today after a long time of being on hold.

That might mean something, yes.  If your account has been on hold for a while and was just released, there's a chance that the whole system doesn't know that yet.    If it doesn't clear itself up in a day or so, I'd suggest filing a support ticket under the category Account Issue >>> Account Creation Issues.   In the meantime, take a look at this checklist of other possible solutions.  You might get lucky.
