IN WORLD NOTIFICATIONS A MUST...PLEASE CHANGE

We do need clear inworld notifications, it shouldn't be too difficult.  Pop up in the middle of the screen, with clearly audible horn sound. Like:

       

           HOOt, HOOT, HOOT...

Region going down in xx minutes!

ROFL......that's great....I think it should be announced all at the same time...region is backing up in XX minutes, and region will restart in XX minutes....The  HOOT HOOT HOOT was hysterical.  Anything really just to let us know that after this moment if u rez something its your fault.  So that even if you are AFK...you have to click on this to get it to go away, even if you were logged out and relog in after....you know it was done, or in the process.  I checked status grid this morning and an inventory maintenace that was supposed to be done at 7 AM PT, was not fininshed until 4:50 PM...either that or they failed to post the message till then.  I suppose I could find these exceptions everyday if I look hard enough, but I am going to log each and every discrepancy I can find, so I can bring it to their attention that it is not being overlooked. Telling us it is our fault for not checking status board is not going to cut it for much longer.
