Why am I getting a check you internet connection when it is fine?

Why am I getting a check my intenet connection for Sl when EVERYTHING else is working fine.  I am standing in a gray world, and NOTHING works. I have tried multiple starting points and nothing seems to work!

Second Life requires a very solid and reasonably fast Internet connection where most other activities on the Internet don't.  For average web browsing dial-up speeds are satisfactory.......and that speed is much too slow for SL.

Start by rebooting your router and modem.  Simply unplug the devices from their electrical source for 3 to 5 minutes then plug them back in.  Restart your computer to re-establish your Internet.  Give SL another try.

im having the same problem have not been able to load v3 or firestorm.  Says I have excellent connection so i dont have a clue but I need help too?
