I have a friend who can't log into SL from his main avi-

He can get in on all other alts. He can use the mobile grid and log in fine. He has 2 PC's - can't get one on either with the main avi only alts. He has tried multiple viewers and even the trick of logging into the SL website to force a connection to the grid did not work. :( he has disabled all gestures and deleted most of them. He is still getting a msg that gesture ABC... Can't be loaded..its a different gesture each time. _ yes- cache has been cleaned.  Any suggestions?

Ok, here's the deal with gestures  >>>> http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/gesture_issues .  As you read that, you'll notice that there are several different symptoms of bad gestures, and that they don't all necessarily occur for everyone.  Notice also that they are recommending that you clear inventory cache, which is a different matter from clearing texture cache.  Follow the instructions carefully and patiently, especially the part about "Allow your inventory to repopulate fully."  You will probably still need to deactivate most of your active gestures.
