Since yesterday I haven't been able to log in to any location at all. Have tried from other computer - just the same. It goes through the full start-up sequence then, pfft, closes down, no error message, just quits. Have tried all usual solutions (clean install, clear cache etc etc). I CAN log in as another avatar so the problem can't be with my computer or software. Very grateful for any help.

Thanks Echo! .... I must be going daft tthough, I didn't find console window in the advanced menu, either SL viewer or Firestorm! And..... as a normal (not premium) member, I can't find a way to submit help ticket to LL.....

Log in on an alt and go into the Advanced menu, check the option "console window", close the viewer and relog with your main avatar. Now you will see a console window, as well as the viewer loading, and that gives you a clue what's happening and at what stage your viewer is giving up loading.

My guess is that there is something in your inventory, or something your avatar is currently wearing, that is causing the issue, and as you have already gone through the process of clearing cache, and as you don't seem able to be logged in at all you may need to contact Linden Lab via a support ticket. 

You can add more information to this thread by clicking on "options" at the top right hand corner of your original post and "edit".

Thanks for updating this thread, and forgive me for not getting back sooner. You're not going daft, but if you are, that's only to be expected with all the tail-chasing you're having to do currently.

I'm responding on your new thread. But am scratching my head.
