Need Special Tally Counter Script in time for NaNoWriMo

Trying to think of the best way to put this - but I need a script that I can put in an object like an hourglass that allows folks to add the number of words they have written each day (for NaNoWriMo www.nanowrimo.org), this number then automatically updates their total word count on a titler above their head. So, I essentially need two or three scripts. They need to be somehow linked. Willing to pay well for this if someone is able to get it done fairly quickly. Need it by the beginning of November.
