flickering cursor

I get a flickering symbol (like a soccer ball) next to my cursor when the cursor is in my inventory box.  Only there...otherwise it's fine.  

Anyone know why or what to do about it?  Not hurting anything (i think) but very annoying.

I suspect that you have another program in the background on your computer that uses that cursor icon and is begging for your attention.  It's not one of the standard icons used in SL  (see https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlSetClickAction ).
