I cannot remember password... the email contact information is incorrect...what can i do please?

I cannot remember my password..the email contact information i gave to when i set up account is incorrect - that was 4 years ago,, I have been active in SL for the past 4 years and changed my password last night and it was accepted.. when i type in the password i thought i had provided, the system is not accepting it.  SL wants to contact me on how to rectify password via email, and, again, the email information I provided is incorrect  Please answer ASAP - I cannot login :(  The reason I cannot access old email is because i forget password for that account also... i am so upset right now... please help me...

There aren't any real options, for Security reasons.

What is wrong with the Email, that you originally provided?

You may consider contacting Support, for recommendations, on how to proceed.

 

Edit:  As a Resident for greater than 5 years, I completely understand your frustration. The Email information is shown, and can be edited, at the Account Dashboard. I realize that doesn't help you at this moment. 

I think Support may be able to provide a solution, it may take several days, or may be done in hours, you never know, until you contact Support.

If you are in the US, try calling this number: 800-294-1067.

It worked for a Resident who sent me the following message:

"I came acrossed a number to call. The number is 1800-294-1067. If anyone else ever looses all their info they can call this number following the prompts and speak with a rep to reset their passwords. Yeah it was no sweat once i got on the phone with the rep. She ask me a security question like what is your favorite pet and if you get it right they give you access to what ever you need. Very helpful."

You can fill a Support Ticket (Second Life Web Login Issues) using a Guest Email. Go to https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ (without login).
