My avi logs in when im asleep Rl. oO

IM told my avi logs in when im asleep Rl, any idea what it is going on??  They see me online but when they message me,  it says im offline. Any ideas? It does it a few times a night, and nobody has my password.  Wierd.

If you generate a strong password and change your password to that, does the problem go away?

Could it be that someone uses the same display name as yours? These, as opposed to "real" account names, are not unique.

Are you sure you logged out properly? Sometimes people can be "ghosted". 

But at the first sign of ANY strangeness like this - CHANGE your password, just in case.

Its an odd thing to happen. I have a friend on my friends list whom this happens to very occasionally. I see her name pop up and when I IM "Hey" it then shows her off line. After a few times I even called her at work to rib her about using company time and she was all "but but. I'm not there.." We did some of our own investigating and came up blank. What we did learn though was that she isn't officially showing as in world. When we looked under groups at her last log in, it always showed the last time she actually logged herself in. The only thing we came up with was what Sea suggested, that maybe when she logged off the last time, for some reason a glitch didn't log her out properly.  I would change your password to be on the safe side and maybe create a ticket if your worried.
