BryanRivas
Hello all, I'm new here and wanted to know what are the most appropriate jobs for beginners in SL? Why Second Life is like this my computer? It is the requirements of the computer or the internet speed? and How can I fix it? http://imgur.com/1D3UFand last question, you guys think I can play SL? http://imgur.com/1D3UF VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVhttp://imgur.com/1D3UF sorry for my bad english, google translate
LuciaRiley
About the jobs. Ask yourself ; why do you need a job in SL? Is it ONLY for money? If the answer is yes, think carefully about buying L$ and enjoy SL without a job... Most of the clubs won't hire under 30 days, if not 90 days. It's kind of something a lot of them do so you can get used to SL. For the other issues.. try and clear cache?
BryanRivas
Not just for money, I'm starting to play nice because I thought the idea of working, being a salesman or something ...
Bree Giffen
What kind of video card you have in your computer? I think you need to upgrade. There are no appropriate jobs for beginners. Look for free things to do and learn about SL while having fun.

Krystina Ferraris
From the image you posted it looks like a mix of graphic card, memory + bandwidth issues. SiS Mirage is an integrated graphics card, I don't know how much memory you have on your system but regardless, that usually doesn't deliver the smoothest gameplay. Try and turn your Graphics under Preferences to the lowest settings possible and see if it improves at all. Also, are you playing on wireless? If yes, try and switch to ethernet. Good luck. Griffin Ceawlin
Yeah. You need to upgrade. That video card is in the mid-range of low end video cards. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=SiS+Mirage+3&id=1910 SiS is even listed as being not compatible with SL. See https://secondlife.com/my/support/system-requirements/index.php.
Amethyst Jetaime
You have a lot to learn before you are any where near ready to have a job.You will also need to have a presentable avatar for the kind of job you seek. To prepare, the first thing you need to do is learn enough to be pretty self sufficient on basic things. Secondly while you do the first, fix up your avatar, Obtain quality skin, hair, clothing, and an animation overrider. While you don't need to spend money to do this, as there is a lot available for free, it will take some time to track down it down and a lot of freebies are out of date or just not good quality. So you will have a limited selection. You may want to consider buying L's to do this to save a lot of time and be able to have your avatar look like you want it to look. Next get out there and explore SL, meet people, find out about the various SL communities and cultures, learn about what behaviour is acceptable and not. It is highly unlikely that you will be hired without at least 30 -90 days experience depending on the job and employer, as well as how fast you advance and learn how to live and deal with people in SL and even perhaps obtain some basic SL skills. . LuciaRiley
Sorry, when I looked here it was about 1AM or so my time. I didn't look at those images properly. But yeah, you're best off just buying the linden dollars instead of working for clubs on SL.
