Need to rent a club or sim for event

Some old friends and I that are not often in SL want to have a reunion of about 20-30 people. Is it possible to rent land for a day for this event? I haven't been IW for a while a I don't think anyone I know has the space to do this. Any suggestion on the best way to do this would be appreciated. Thanks

There are a number of event places that would be happy to rent to you for a day.  You can find them in search under places and classifieds.

I don't know of anyone that rents sims for only one day, but you might be able to do this if you talk to some estate owners who have them for rent.  A homestead only holds 20 people so you would probably need a full sim.  This would probably be a lot more expensive and you would probably need to add and furnishings/landscaping to it yourself.

The Second Life Cheerleading Squad will let you use their stadium for your party, providing there is not something scheduled arleady, and the event is PG. Its a private sim that holds up to 100.(though we have only topped out at like 70). hehe. IM me in world if you would like a tour

I had a place that coulda held around 20-30 people a bit ago, but I got the land taken away.. D; I'd suggest SL Cheerleading Squad's gym as it is a pretty good size.
