Why was my credit card charged for lindens never received after the system cancelled the transaction

Question

I tried to order 4000L, and when I checked my transaction history, it said that the system had cacelled the transaction. However, when I checked my bank account, I had been charged $16.00. Will I either be refunded that money, or given the Lindens...at some point in time?
