full bright issues?

Full bright issues...having things that are normally not full bright look full bright..anyone else having this issue?

 

Ok thanks to all the answers however its not my hardware (brand new comp as well as monitor ) now it could be the windlight but not really sure how to check that ...because i am using phoenix now (which things do not appear full bright ) but would love to switch back to firestorm ( wonderful thing that firestorm ) so how do i check for the windlight on firestorm?

No.  Have you tried viewing on a different monitor or --- even better -- a different computer?  The simplest explanation is that your intensity or contrast has changed on your monitor, or that something similar has shifted in your GPU.

You're not using Firestorm or Phoenix are you, and have accidentally activated one of the preloaded windlight settings? 

Other than that, I'd go with Rolig's answer. She's brighter than full-bright :smileyhappy:

That can be a sign that your graphics adapter is about to go south.  It also could be a monitor dying (but I doubt it unless you are using an old CRT monitor..........that's the way my CRT monitor acted just before it went very dark a about 6 or 7 years ago.).

I have now the same issues, but not at all sims, some sims have the issues, other sims not, so it should be a linden thing, other people see it too, so it has nothing to do with my computer or settings.

If other people around you are seeing the same thing, I'm guessing that you are just wandering into some regions that have different Windlight settings. With Windlight, a region owner can crank up the brightness, change the color balance, and make the ambient light source quite intense.
