Visa Card question

hi everyone so recently i had my birthday and a friend gave me this CHASE visa gift card and i see in the billing arrangements with linden that they exept visa as well(yay!) but its not a legit CARD CARD its just a gift card will it still work? i hope so i would definately buy way more if so :3

Gift cards don't generally work with SL.  But Visa is reported to work........but, I've noticed that it's hit or miss (sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't).  I know the Visa debit card works (as that is my payment method for my Premium account and has been for over 2 years) so the chances are good, in my opion since gift cards are debit cards and not credit cards.  You'll have to give it a try.

Editing to add:

For recurring charges, such as premium payments, I doubt a gift card will work.  But for one time purchases, like purchasing Linden dollars, it should.

Have you thought of going indirect, through Paypal? Worth a try, if the direct payment, card to SL, isn't acceptable.

(And, yes, I know some people don't like Paypal.)

To use pay pal you need to have a bank account tied to your pay pal account. I dont have a checking account. My visa gift cards dont work here either. Linden needs to come on into the 21st century.
