how do you get a sl divorce?

yes i have dissolved the partnership, but we had a secondlife wedding with a certificate. Is it binding, is there sl divorce or is dissolving the partnership all that is needed?

Go to your dashboard: Account > Partners: tick the box "I, Amelie Hold, would like to dissolve my partnership with XXXX". Click submit. You will be charged 25 L$.

How to end a partnership

The person who "divorces" is charged L$25.

Follow this procedure to dissolve a partnership:

1. Open the Partners page.
2. Select "I, (your name), would like to dissolve my partnership with (your partner's name)."
3. Click Submit.
   Your partnership is dissolved and your now-ex-partner is notified.

Once you have dissolved a partnership, you can recreate it by following the procedure previously outlined and paying the L$10 again.

Answering your edit: the SL wedding certificate is just roleplay and has absolutely no value. Once the partnership is dissolved, you ARE divorced.

Getting divorced is easy.  It's deciding who gets custody of the kids, who inherits the Meeroos, and how much alimony is involved that's the hard part.
