Mike you seem smart. The deformer was  and is open source code  LL paid for it. Now I have implemented the code in a few viewers and there is some work needed from server side and clients side.  Then there is how do we handle items that are no mod.  All my builds with that code i am seeing some very unstable things. Not that its bad it just not stable.

so Valgrind this ok and look at the output. it's all in a days work. as for the different grids  it up to your taste.

LL most certainly did NOT pay for it!  A number of people in the community did because LL were doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with it and even when it was gifted to them as probably the single most important piece of code to enhance mesh clothing, still have done nothing with it for over a year.

If I recall correctly, the sum of $5000 was raised to fund the development by Qarl Fizz, an ex-LL employee.

There is a very big difference between them, well they are exactly the same and all but with a difference , in SL i had to become a premium member to be able to sell my Lindens and in Inworldz its for free im not a premium member and i still cash into my paypal alot, and another thing SL and IW are the same they have a Connection center in Sl and IW you can Link your Secondlife avi  and your Inworldz avi together and send each other funds. DID YOU KNOW THAT ?? my avies are Linked and i send Lindens to my Inworldz avi every week

I play  SL and IW and they are the same LL knows about them cuz there is a connection center in Sl so you can Link both World Avis just like a boarder My Avies are Linked and i send Lindens to my Inworldz Avi every week . Another thing why i like IW its cuz i dont have to become a Premium member like i had to in SL to sell my Lindens i sell my Virtual currency i earn in Inworldz jobs and transfere to my paypal and its for free, in Secondlife you have to be a premium to sell your Lindens . So thats why i think IW is better in a way. So i am going to quit Premium and go back to Basic member cuz now i know i can earn the same in a World i dont have to pay for it monthly

First, like others have stated above, I have never heard of a Premium account being required to cash out.

Secondly, I am not involved with InWorldz so can not speak authoritatively on the subject But according to this (pops) InWorldz no longer operates an exchange service between them and SL themselves.

However Googling the subject I did find at least one Third Party Exchange (TPE) that appears to be facilitating transfers.

However, knowing what the new TPE rules are and based on reading what this TPE does, I believe LL would shut them down in a moment if they found them operating in SL.  It wouldn't be because LL was being draconian either but because of legal requirements Money Exchange Services have to comply with.

yes you do , i have tried it before and i always got a message saying " you must be a premium member " so i then became one

You might want to read this thread to be well informed:

The fact is that you need not to be premium member to sell L$.

This is interesting, to me, and I'll probably question it over on the Inworldz forums; I did know there were no more ATM transfers, from Lindens to Izzies or vice versa, for quite some time now, but this poster, Violet here said that her avatars were linked and able to send money back and forth between the actual avs.  That's how I read it anyway, and that's different than sending to ATMs, like we used to do.   I didn't know anything about avatars being 'link-able' on different grids, and not sure how she's doing that.

What really made the whole post questionable is the statement "you can Link your Secondlife avi  and your Inworldz avi together and send each other funds."  How can you work out the difference in exchange rates (the currencies have different values) for a direct transfer with out both LL and InWorldz cooperating?  Which is why as I stated the exchange would have to be facilitated by a TPE.

For all due and intent purposes, InWorldz was acting as a TPE when they were handling the transfers.

Inworldz, your content and account are 100 times more secure in SL, good luck with the god mode rampage drama queen violet, one day you will see that they will ban you for farting the wrong way with no excuse.

Using a TPE is *not* linking accounts between different worlds and as said, if LL find out some one is doing it since the new rules, they will be closed faster then you can recover your funds and the thread linked in here was dated back to 2010...

Actually, there are some concerns raised in several regards in these matters.

The Kitely Grid, which, btw, I would recommend highly for many reasons you can read about by searching for it, does not cash out at all due to their feeling this is a problem. 100k prims per region and the least expensive region pricing in the commercial aspect of the Metaverse is only 2 good reasons.

One can still use SL and Kitely at the same time of course.

I do not know all the ends and outs to this now as it no longer concerns me, I play in the free metaverse now.

However, their forums are a good place to discuss it intelligently. They do, however, in the marketplace, allow payments for items to your paypal account in USD, which is unique and interesting.

Inworldz does have people, if you know them, who will exchange lindens by way of simply passing the lindens to izzies in both directions individually. Regular residents, that is. I have no clue if any of their family/friends/owners do such things.

Also, the Inbiz Market, a third party run MP, has an exchange but I have no clue of it's current status in all this either.

For commercially oriented folx I think the Kitely owners likely have a good eye to how this should be done nowadays. For those who wish to throw off the commercialistic shackles grids such as Metropolis, OSGrid, Francogrid, or Craft would be ideal.

You haz options, and cool ones.

I asked Inworldz forum. I immediately received a response from Admin there, that it is NOT allowed, and if it's being done, it's done by a 3rd party and that they have nothing to do with it, per the terms of their TOS.. Glad I asked. ETA: I might add, that's one of the things I like about Inworldz. If I'd asked that question of LL, in a forum thread,I doubt if I'd expect a reply at all, let alone within minutes.......responsiveness from admin is a very attractive trait.

IF IT WAS THAT ILLIGAL THAN WHY IS IT IN SECONDLIFE?? THEY HAVE A WHOLE SIM WITH THE HEADQUARTERS DO LINK AVIS AND ALL THAT CONNECTION STUFF AND THE ATM´S AND IF IT IS THERE FOR EVERYONE TO SEE THEN THEY HAVE PERMISSION FOR IT

I can't speak for Alicia, only myself.  I could be wrong.  Based on my understanding of the TOS and TPE's it sounds like a violation to me.  But LL is the final decision maker on this.

Those are what we call "final last words."

It is the equivalent of saying, "If everyone is doing it, then it must be OK."

Me personally, I don't care and I don't consider playing Cop on the Grid part of my SL Life.

I'm mostly very surprised to learn of this.

Thanks, but I'm not at all comfortable with that; I thought you meant some other kind of 'linking'. My last understanding was we weren't supposed to be doing that anymore, and that's been a pretty long time ago; so thanks anyway, I'll pass.

That is my understanding as well, Treasure (hi by the way! *smiles*) when I was still somewhat active in IW.  No idea what this "linking accounts" thing is.
