I doubt wifi from your iphone is a stable connection for SL

Amazing how often others slide in with the same answer and get the credit. or copy their after their was wrong to begin with

Wireless in SL is rarely a good idea.  WiFi from your iPhone is a terrible idea.  Use a direct cable connection to your router.

It is not easy to understand your question. If you are having trouble connecting with your PC to the same address that works for your iPhone, perhaps there is something wrong with your router. When was the last time you rebooted it?
