An advice from Mac users: Lion or not Lion?

I am running a macbook pro with mountain lion and have lost the ability to speak... I can hear others but my voice is no longer working... is anyone else experiencing this problem?

It didn't want to run SL at first, saying it wasn't an authorized application. So I had to control-click SL and open it there to make an exception.

Oddly also discovered during this that my router considers apple.com to be a malware company...

S/he is! I've some to expect smooth updates, but this one was fantastic. One click and 30 minutes on each machine and they're humming happy tunes.

I love MAC OS.  

Noticed sound not 100% even outside of SL but clears up quickly.

 

I love running in Ultra mode 100% so far!  Lion and MPro with no more moving hard drive and Retina

Finally i can take a deep breath in SL and go wow!  Cheers for less lag

Preferences/ Sound&Media/input output devices

Change input to built-in Microphone?

BTW which viewer?

yes voice is working on everything skype etc but not on sl

and this new retina Mac book pro doesn't have socket for external microphone anyways

I have the same laptop.  just had like 2 weeks.   I had to change it to "built in Microphone" to get it to work in SL. 

Im using V3 now.
