[solved] Transparency surrounding my head on new avatar, how to remove it?

Hello,

I just created this alt and when wearing the default skin/shape or a new skin/shape I see some transparency above my head and have no idea how to get rid of it?

I selected "detach all" as well as removed all clothing but it remains there. I then put back on the newbie set so I looked like on first login. I use the latest Phoenix Firestorm client v4.11.

Anyone got an idea how to get rid of that? Never saw that on my other alt.

That's weird, my first thought is that someone used an alpha prim to hide the system hair, although I know that makes no sense.

Try changing the eyebrow shaper of your avatar, use a generic one from your library if you want. It is one of 4 items you cannot remove, but have to replace.

Thanks so much! Using one of the standard eyebrows did the trick.

Apparently one of the Laqroki Eyebrow shapes created this weird effect, no idea why. But glad that it's gone, thanks again!!

 

P.S.: so much for the "detach all" option but I guess it's because like you wrote that you cannot remove but only replace it.

Right, your avatar will always have at least 4 components, a shape, a skin, an eyebrow shaper (also called bald base or system hair), and eyes.
