Can you make mesh with Hexagon 2.5?

Does anyone know if I could create some mesh objects with Hexagon 2.5? I know that you can create some sculpts with Hexagon, but I don't know if I could create some mesh too.

Technically speaking I see no reason why it would'nt work BUT (and that's a big BUT, LOL), the link you gave goes to a demo version where you cannot save your creations.... :smileyindifferent: I would therefore recommend Blender, which is REALLY free and has improved to work perfectly with SL. :smileywink:

Yes i made mesh and exported it as OBJ and imported to blender to export to collada. works like a charm

Interesting program. It even has a Tab for second Life sculpties

 

BTW Val. It does let you save out product FYI

I just made a quick sculpted prim and uploaded it with no problem..

The only downside is there is no Collada exporter. But it had OBJ export and thats all I need to import to blender and export to collada.. Maybe they will add it later. I will have to check it out a bit more..

 

I dont know why you posted this in asnwers. thisa is mainly for users who need help with SL.You would get more of a reaction if you posted this in the mesh forums

I use a Mac and it did not let me save... I'm puzzled about this. Any clue?

Not sure Val. I am using windows and was able to import my mesh I made from Hex to blender with no problem. And uploaded to SL.

Hahahaha More than Likely. Sorry you are having trouble with it. But seems fully functional to me. I guess untill they lock it down lol. You did enter the serial number, right?
