What SL viewer will work on my new MacBook Pro (OS X LION)

I have just bought a new MacBook pro 13" 2.4 dual-core intel i5 processor.. I went to the SL download page last night and it gave me the option to download the newest version so I went for it to see how it would work. I could move around, load inventory perfectly but once I tried to TP out of any sim it would crash. When I opened my friends list they would all just say loading but never load, and also I couldnt send any IM's to anyone. Whats up with this? Anyone know of a viewer that I could ue that works with this Lion OS?

I have had zero problems using Firestorm with a MacbookPro.

If your firewall is blocking outbound TCP port 12043, then teleporting, viewing the World Map, crossing regions, and related activities won't work and may cause unexpected crashes.  Check your firewall settings  >>> http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Using-Second-Life-with-a-firewall/ta-p/1304539 .

Your issues are typical of a weak internet connection. Let me guess: are you using wireless? There is no reason why you couldn't run the latest viewer on the new MacBook Pro if you use a regular Ethernet 100 cable. OS X Lion (after some difficulties in the beginning when it was released last year) now supports SL perfectly.
