Being Spammed to groups

I've been spammed, it sent it out to groups, what should I do? It sent out click here and get money.  People complained and said it was me when I wasn't online.

Quit the group(s).

If these are announcements that have nothing to do with the group's purpose, notify the group owner so the offender can be booted out of the group.Send a copy of the spam to them along with the name of the person who sent it.

If these are announcements are in line with groups policy you have no complaint.  You join commercial or info sharing groups to get announcements within the stated scope of the group.  If you don't like it, leave the group.

If I properly understand you, you're saying that a link was sent out in groups saying "click here and get money" and it appeared to be sent out by you, but you were offline at the time?

If that's the case, it may very well be your account has been compromised -- perhaps you clicked on a similar link and someone got your password that way and has been logging in as you.   In that case, you should change your password immediately, I think, and report the matter to LL.
