Question

I've been trying to log into my account through my viewer, and every time I do that I crash right after it loads..It says the region might be down or I might have internet connections but my internet is fine. I've tried uninstalling the viewer and re-installing and it still does not work..Any answer would be awesome please and thanks :matte-motes-big-grin:

It is likely the region you are trying to log into is down.

Before you login, open Preferences (Ctrl-P) look on the General tab for Start Location. To the right enable Show at Login. This will open a destination field on the login screen. Type in Pooley or Furball and try logging in.

Also, while you are in Preferences switch to the Graphics tab and switch to LOW settings. If there is an update affecting your graphics card, this should get you in.

And... it may be your connection. There are hundreds of not thousands of devices between your computer and the SL servers. Any one of those could be failing or overloading. Conditions change by the millisecond. Run through the steps in Troubleshoot Your #SL Connection to find out if you, your ISP, a backbone provider, or SL has a problem.
