I have had half my inventory disappear a few times. It can be a little frustrating to say the least.

One thing I have found that if the stuff is not loading properly is to try clearing cache and relog into a different region.(not the same one you been trying in)

Some cases I have had to go into my cache folder and manually delete everything inside the folder and then log back in...

If you are using multiple viewers. ALWAYS keep seperate caches for all the viewers

Sometimes It can take more than 1 relog if your inventory is huge

If all else fails submit a support case and ask them to reset your account to help recover your inventory

KB article http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Advanced-inventory-management/ta-p/1376385#Section_.3

Tips for recovering lost inventory items

If an item mysteriously disappears from your inventory, use the the procedures below to locate it.

  • Click the Inventoryinventory_button.png button on the toolbar and select the RECENT tab. Items returned since last log off will be stored here.
  • Clear the Second Life Viewer's cache.
  • Search for the item by entering its name in the Filter Inventory field of the INVENTORY window.
  • Search the Lost And Found folder.
  • Search the Trash folder.
  • Search folders listed at the top of the INVENTORY window.
  • Your filter settings may be hiding some of your invneotry items. To reset them, click the Gear icon at the bottom left of the INVENTORY window and choose Reset Filters.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but most likely you will never see that inventory again if relogging and clearing your cache doesn't work.  I've been fighting for well over a month with Linden Labs to have my inventory restored when most of mine was wiped out by their error during our lovely outages.  I wish you the best of luck but unless you're a premium member (and even then help is unlikely), you won't be able to open an effective ticket nor will your inventory ever be restored and you will be out the money you've spent.

Try sending a notecard to the merchants with proof of transaction and ask them to resend the product to you, that's about the best you can hope for.
