Notecard Links inside a Notecard

Suddenly I can no longer click on a notecard that is linked inside another notecard. When I mouse over it, the pointer turns into a "hand", as it should... but nothing happens when I click on it. I have checked to be sure I am not on my Block List. Does anyone know what might have suddenly caused this?

I have tried different sims and different viewers. It has always worked for me until 2 days ago, and it's frustrating. Thank you very much... I didn't realize it but I can drag the linked NC into my inventory. However, this is really not a fix... just a bandaid, and I hope someone will help me fix this.

It works for me.  I wonder if you are seeing server lag.  Does it work if you move to a different sim?  Can you drag the embedded notecard to your inventory and open it there?  Click on the Options link in the upper right corner of your question and select EDIT to add information. Please do NOT start a new thread.

It seems to have something to do with how the notecard was made or perhaps the SLURS (or notecards for you) . A bunch of us got notecards from the SL Home and Garden Expo listing all the shops. For some of us (not just me) the issue was the same that you mention only with SLURLS. You could "see" the coordinates when you mouse over but you couldn't copy to inventory, double click etc. So not a lot of use really. This is the ONLY notecard I have had issues with. I am on Firestorm 3.2 but not sure if viewers have anything to do with it. So far, no one that I know of has found the answer. So at least you know you are not alone Most notecards work fine for me.

 

I just saw your note about dragging and that doesn't work for me with landmarks. This happened about the same time that there was a MAJOR permission glitch in the database (tons of permissions had to be reset by lots of designers even little me who does almost nothing had to fix an incorrect permission on a year old product) so there could be some corelation. There were also sit scripts rotating very incorrectly so things have been iffy this week for sure.
