 Hello, I am on the east coast of US, some items have disappeared from my friends land, which I have full permission, have lost a fence and one  Gaia bird, have searched but cannot locate, yes need help

There are way too many possible solutions to list here, so let me give you a handy wiki article to peruse >>> http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Inventory_loss  .  In addition to the suggestions on that page, let me add one that Linden Lab wouldn't tell you about.  The Firestorm viewer has a built-in function called Area Search, accessible from the World menu.  With it, you can locate items by name or owner anywhere in your sim.  It's a great tool, used sparingly so as not to overload the servers.
