Weeeee - I love shopping! :) - Ohh this is a problem .... Sorry  OK back to Anwsers.

by all means open a support case per the instructions & link provided. Please provide as much detail as you can in regards to your PC and it's hardware & software with that support ticket.

I tested the Marketplace with IE / Firefox & Chrome and it is functioning correctly in general. Adding items & Removing them is working, as well as requesting Qty changes. I tested using Microsoft Security Essentials and Avast as the AV solutions on several Vista & Windows 7 PCs both 32bit & 64bit.. 

Make sure that you do not have an anti-virus or anti-malware software solution that is preventing you from using cookies with your internet browsers.

Also make sure that you have the most current updates and security patches applied per your PC and OS manufacturer.

In addition to the other great answers...my advice is, don't use the Shopping Cart at all.  My preference is to use the "See Item in Second Life" link (if there is one) to visit the merchant's in world store.  Failing that, use the Buy Now button to buy the item without putting it in the Shopping Cart.

The Shopping Cart has a lot of other problems besides the one you are reporting.  Don't trust it!
