How to merge objects?

Hey.

 

How to merge two objects to one? I have two triangles that I would like to merge together so it becomes a star. This merged object will be a floor for my building.

You need to link the objects together. You can't really merge them into one object, only create a linked object.

simple and easy.

position both triangles to look like the star.

then go to the objects tab.

click on one triange. hold shift and click other triangle.

click link in the objects tab.

voilia. now name your "object" to floor. and there you go.

enjoy your floor.
