Question

Hello, for 4 days now I can't rez objects in my linden home. I Have it set to group, have my

tag on and only a few prims are down. I am trying to rez. 1 or 2 prim objects. I can build

a object prim but if I take it up I can't put it back down from inventory. I have cleared cashe

several times, if I tp out and back some times I can rez a 1 or 2 prims item once but then I

can't again. My group members are having the same problem. Also the sim is very laggy,

I have taken off all attachments and huds but it doesn't seem to help. I have waited for

3 days because I know you have been trying to get the mesh situation straight and there

are problems all over SL.  My Linden home is in Coyote Melon (96,196,42). I am having no

problems anywhere else in SL. This is the message I get: [ Can't rez object at

{ 86.5557, 184.187, 38.6059 } because the owner of this land does not allow it.

Use the land tool to see land ownership.]  I am the owner.  Thank you. Tinker

There's a current bug that is making it hard to rez things in some Linden Homes. Read about it at SVC-7902: Problem of not being able to rez on my land continues.  The problem is that the servers can't seem to figure out where the edges of your parcel are, so they assume that you are trying to rez things outside them. For now, the best solution is to find one spot in your home where you can rez an object --- probably close to the center of the parcel.  Try rezzing a simple cube over and over again until you find a spot where it works.  Then, rez anything else you want at that same spot and then move it to its final location.  Linden Lab hopes to have the bug fixed in an upcoming server upgrade, so you shouldn't be stuck with this workaround for long.

BTW, this is a resident-to-resident forum.  There are no Lindens here, and none ever visit.  We are SL residents like you.
