When I sit on an object, the camera angle changes 180 degrees. Is that setting?

When I sit on an object, the camera angle changes 180 degrees. Is that  setting? How do I sit and not change my view?

That is normal, expected behavior, depending on whether you have previously been moving your cam around before you sit.  You can recover the default camera angle (camera looking over your left shoulder) by hitting your Esc key at any time.
