Ok, I asked my last question wrong. When does the Resident part of your nic disappear?

I asked my last question wrongly, what I meant was when does the Resident part of my nic disappear? Right now it is Dennis1944 Resident. Some have told me it takes 3 or 4 years before that goes away.

It does not disappear. Since the "Resident" last name came up almost one year ago, this will remain as your "last name". Those who told you it would disappear after a few days gave you wrong information, sorry.

All you can do is use a display name inworld as a sort of a work around about this.
