feet under the ground?

i dont get this. my feet are under the ground, prim, platform, floor, whatever im standing on. I have detached ever stich of everything so im left wearing my skin and shape only. my feet are STILL under the ground. so ichange my size and its not working either. ive tried to relog and all that to no avail... help?

I have the same problem ut not all the time, ususally with a certain pair of shoes, but I would like to know the answer to your question myself!

This seems to be happening to a lot of people lately, You can adjust your height offset, that should fix it.

Firestorm it is under the LOGO button that runs along the bottom of the screen.

Try looking in the debug setting for something similar to this, PhoenixAvatarZModifier.

Also search your viewers wiki for " feet in ground"

There are several things that cause this.

The two big ones that come to mind are'

Prim shoes/feet not being aligned properly. Make sure the bottom of any prim footwear are lined up with the bottom of your avatar's mesh feet, if the shoes are lower than your feet they will sink into the ground.

 

Avatar height. Avatar height is a problem in SL. Few people know how tall they are (even the appearance editor height is broken and giving incorrect information) and few animators realize how avatar size affects their creations. Those who do try to create different animations for difference sized avatars, but often mislable them with incorrect heights. Sit and ground sit poses are the most affected by this, but even stands can be affected to a degree.

I live on a snow sim so my feet are never under the ground, but sometimes the snow is up to my knees.
