A couple of things to watch for. You may get hit with Foreign Transaction fees.  I don't know if LL is still using the offshore processing service they used in the past, but your bank may charge you the fee. Also, again I don't know if this still occurs, but quite a few people have reported their banks refusing transactions from LL without confirmation from the card holder.

I don't own any credit cards any longer, so I use a GreenDot prepaid Visa for SL and all online purchasing. If you live in the US, you can get one in places like WalMart, Walgreen's and 7 Eleven. I just  fill it as needed and it works just like any other credit card.

The problems mentioned aside, the Lindex is probably he safest place to buy your Lindens. You may not get the best rate, but at least you have someplace to complain if something goes wrong. In theory at least.

never had trouble with LL charging me offshore fees, but of course it's your CC company charging LL and LL simply passing along the charges to you.

Their rates seem competitive, and no need to give your CC to yet another company you know only through some website.
