why can't I abandon land? it says i still own it after abandoned

So I was wondering .. why can't i abandon my land? I abandon it before my premium membership was up. Then i canceled my membership .. a month later it still shows i own the land .. then i get a 5 dollar charge ... what do i do? nothing becuase i thought it was tkaen care of. Second month come sin .. 10 dollars was charged (another 5 dollars) and it still shows tha ti own 512 land and it pisses me off becuase I want to abandon it .. and i can't.  I abandon the land from the about land - general tab - abandon land and then i x it out .. then i come back and i look and it sitll shows i still own the land .. why is that?  why?  i don't want another 5 dollars to come in this moonth.  at 10 dollars i had to pay to get back in world.  Isn't that messed up? When i called the lady has no idea what i'm talking about and ntohing is fixed. What to do?

You may be a member of a group owning land, that is why. Check that and leave them if you want. Also check your dashboard > account > my mainland. All your properties are listed there. If you still own any, TP there and abandon.

Ok. If you stand on the land and abandon it, it should not be yours anymore. So, stand on the land look at about land and see who the owner is. If it is not you, then you no longer own the land.

Now, you have to go to your account and change your tier level.

Land Manager > Land Use Fees > Update Tier

Click the zero dollar option and click Save Changes.
