language setting in mysecondlife.com = german. I need english!

I only speak english (lame, I know, but that's the way it is). My settings are fine everywhere else except mysecondlife.com where everything is in german.  Any idea how to change this?

English is my language when I am on my dashboard.  My problem is at -- 

https://my.secondlife.com/de/

and changing that to https://mysecondlife.com/en/    doestn't work . . . .

There's a link at the top left of the page at https://secondlife.com. As it is now, yours will probably say something like Sprache?

Options 1: Follow Valerie's suggestions and if still having issues then you have run across one of the few websites that will honor a Preferred Language setting in Internet Explorer

Option 2: OK - here are the steps..In English:

From Microsoft: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/change-your-internet-explorer-language-settings

Hopefully this will do it for you.

You may also need to do a IE cookie purge as well to get it to take.
