Subdividing Parcel on Mainland

I bought a 1024 Parcel on Zindra and wanted to split it in 2 separate parcels to rent 512sqm to a friend, I proceeded as described in the knowledge base and got the message "Cannot subdivie Land. You must be the estate owner or an estate manager to subdivide land in this region."

Did I miss something?

There is a section of Zindra (around Kama City)  that has restrictions on both terraforming and subdividing/joining land.  Look at your About Land - Covenant tab toward the bottom of the page and you will see rather your parcel can be subdivided.

what Cinnamon said.  The same thing applies elsewhere, such as Bay City and Nautilus City.

The problem is solved, it seems that I was simply to fast doing it. When I asked in the live chat for help somebody came by and did it for me, and they sounded somehow surprised themselves that I wasn't able to do it myself.
