I have several accounts on the go at the same time but I want to delete them, not just let them go dormant, I wnat them gone altogether - how deo I do this?    thanks

In addition to Lindal's advice, you have to connect each avatar separately to their dashboard and delete them one by one. You cannot manage your alts accounts as a whole from your main account, as each one is considered by SL as a single entity.
