I'm a novice scripter and I need some help getting my sound files for an avatar attachment to work. I often find my attachment, when clicked on, won't play the proper sounds immediately, but will have to be activated more than once before the sounds play properly. I tried to add a preload sounds line to my script in the default area, but I couldn't get the preload command to recognize multiple sound file names separated by commas. So next I tried to create a preload sound line for each individual file. That seemed to work at first, since it let me save the script without an error message, but then suddenly I started getting spammed with error messages that it couldn't find a "null" sound. All the sounds I named in the preload sound lines are in the inventory of the attachment, and there's no preload sound line that I know of in the script that doesnd't have a sound file name in it. I'm completely stumped here; what am I doing wrong?

There are two things going on here.  One I can only guess at ..... You have probably mistyped the name of a sound file.  I do that myself a lot.  I am the world's crummiest typist, so I hit double letters or type a semicolon instead of an apostrophe all the time.  If I can do it, so can you.

The other problem is beyond your control.  It's been going on at least since March, and it's annoying >>> https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7791  As one person who posted to that JIRA says, "Yeah, this problem has more or less killed looping ambient sounds."  Apparently you can get around it by hard-coding the sounds into your script and playing them by UUID, but playing a sound by reference to it in inventory is borked for now.
