Noob question about purchasing "static" poses on the Marketplace

If there is a pack of poses, and it says they are "static" poses, does that mean that there isn't some flowing animation, and the avi becomes stiff as a board?

Love, a "static" pose generally means it's meant for taking pictures. There is no movement. If it's a static pose with hands on hips, for example, your avi will stand still with his/her hands on his/her hips and not move. If you want flowing movement, you probably want an animation, and definitely something that doesn't say "static."
