I cant login and have read the gridstatus...what time is it in slt?

Not sure andi dont really follow it....any idea what time it is...it's 11 am where im at 

just wondering if anybody else can log in....sorry im a noob

Ok Here's how I work out what time it is in SL.

OPen the Second Life browser....look at the UpComing Events - and that will tell you what time it is rougly. In fact - it's saying 9:00AM now so I would reckon it would come back online right now or close to now.

Actually that's not true.  It depends on how you have your preferences set.  Mine tells me the time in my time zone.

Can never say 'on the dot' with these things, it is an estimate, it'll be done when it it done. If it runs over significantly there will most likely be another announcement on the status page.

Not on the dot, it's a prediction they've been working on the maintance since ... 6am maybe a little later. keep your eye on the website status.secondlife.com for the all clear.

When these maintenances were made in a keekly basis, it was not uncommon an update saying "Oops, thigs are going longer than we expected. Thx for you patience" :cattongue:

LL couldn't do something 'on the dot' if the dot was 5 miles across and labelled "THE DOT" in flashing neon letters.

Yes indeed - I was just going to point out that:

• SL time is US Pacific time
• SL time is GMT -8 hours
• So SL was due back at 1700 GMT
• Which was 5 minutes ago
• And the grid-status page still says "We will be beginning our core network maintenance shortly."
