Library Landmarks

LL,

There are 3 Landmarks in the Library.  Help Island Public, Orientation Island Public and Ahern (which says Welcome Area on Mainland).  If you are to keep these landmarks in the Library then they need updated for learning SL.  There is a group called Infohub Builders that this could be assigned too to update these.  Noobs still come to these 3 places to learn because they are in the Library.  For Ex. Orientation Island Public has Viewer 1.23 notecards from 2003 in the green spinning hands) If you have no intention of updating or having the InfoHub Builders group update these Hubs for new residents to learn SL then take them out of the Library.

This is a great idea, Nimh20, but I do not think any LL staff will see it here.  I could not find the group Infohub Builders but perhaps working through that group or a similar group would work.  Unfortunately, there are very few reliable communication pathways between residents and LL.  Good luck!

InfoHub Builders won't come up in search for some reason but it does exist.  Go to Warmouth Infohub  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Warmouth/128/128/91 and Violet Infohub http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Violet/128/128/2 are just 2 examples of infohubs worked on by this group.  Main non-linden owner is Ingrid Ingersoll and the group says it has 5 members.
